My CPU: Athlon XP 2600+

Scrolling large tables _with borders_ is very jerky / slow in Minefield or Fx3b4 etc. Strange: Scrolling tables without border (border="0") are as fast as in Firefox 2. In Firefox 2 scrolling worked normal (equal performance) in both tables with border and without border.

Table without border:
Fx2: fast; Fx3pre: fast

Table _with_ borders:
Fx2: fast; Fx3pre: jerky

This problem also exists in Windows Vista (tested with core 2 duo E6850). I am not sure if it exists in Linux and OSX.
It seems to get better if you have a modern cpu.

This bug is not related to:
Bug 54542 - The problems mentioned there work well for me or they exist in older firefox versions, too (see dates).

It is possible/likely that this ist NOT bug 201307 because all the testcases there (except the obsoleted ones) work well for me in fx2 and fx3. See also bug 201307 comment #110 )

I think this bug should be marked as a regression. A lot of people will see this problem (of slow and jerky scrolling) as a very serious disadvantage of Firefox over other browsers. Especially people with slow computers, who are suffering from this the most.
