From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.0-test1-ac9smp i686; en-US; m16) Gecko/20000613 BuildID: 2000061311 Pull-down menus are mostly or entirely transparent, making it hard to use them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start browser 2.click on e.g. the Search menu or the Bookmarks menu 3. Actual Results: I see the correct menu, but its background is mostly transparent. Expected Results: the menu background should be a uniform color (perhaps grey). Interestingly, the File menu is mostly grey except for the Quit choice, which has a white background. However, its cascading menus have transparent backgrounds. I am using XFree86 3.3.6, which renders everything else correctly. I have a Riva TNT2 video card, and I'm running at 1280x1024, 24-bit depth. My resolution is set to 100x100 dpi. You can see an example at http://bike-nomad.com/menubug1.png other rendering (i.e. on web pages is also messed up sometimes (borders missing, etc.), though resizing windows often cures the problem.
set the "use view manager 2" flag in the debug panel in prefs. this is the default for new profiles, you must have set it off before.
