After consideration, we decided to add the Afrikaans newspaper "Beeld" as our live bookmark. It is one of the biggest Afrikaans newspapers, and although it has a bit of a regional scope, the feed is quite neutral and probably the best there is for now.

ok by me on rationale - it's in afrikaans, the feed is sufficiently dynamic to provide good user experience and demonstrates the feature for the user to add other feeds.

axel recently pointed out that the url given above seems to do some kind of tracking but it's unclear and not always reproducible. friedel can you get clarification on the url and what it should be and why. thanks

For reference, I have found several different numbers in the xml file name, like http://www.news24.com/News24v2/Components/Generic/news24RSSFeed/0,8069,3,00.xml, and had a hard time to reproduce the 8069. I found one without any number on http://www.news24.com/News24v2/Components/Generic/news24RSSFeed/0,,3,00.xml, linked to from http://www.news24.com/Beeld/rssFeeds/0,,,00.html

I might have been to quick on providing the link. They seem to have different feeds for different sections of the newspaper. Axel, the last one you mention is the correct one (0,,3,00.xml) for "top stories", which I think is the best for this feature. I changed the URL field now. If we can still do this in time, it would be super!
