User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080311 Firefox/2.0.0.13 Build Identifier: Firefox - All Mr. Waldon Schmidt of Durango, Colorado would like to stay with Firefox but his bank only supports Netscape and IE. Hopefully the bank can be persuaded to support Firefox-- this is especially important to preserve opportunities for user choice now that Netscape is defunct. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attempt to login to bank account at http://www.fnbdurango.com/ 2. Receive error page informing user that only IE and Netscape are supported Excerpt from letter sent to Mozilla: I have been happy with Netscape and Firefox for years. My bank said they only support Netscape and Explorer, but not Firefox for their online banking, so I switched back to Netscape 9. I now get a message from AOL saying they will no longer support Netscape. Will Mozilla again support Netscape?
When I go to their site and click the online banking link https://www.netteller.com/fnbdurango/ there's a "Browser Check" link at the top-right. Clicking that gives a small popup window that allows you to verify that a browser meets their "standards" (mostly as it pertains to encryption, as far as I can tell). I don't have a login, so I obviously can't test the bug itself, but I think it's pretty funny that their own browser check function says my browser (Camino trunk, for the record) passes with flying colours but wouldn't work on their site. Until we get some sort of indication otherwise, I'm going to mark this as a sniffing problem, since that's what it certainly sounds like.

Tiffney -- can you point Walter to this bug and ask him to explain if he is actually being blocked from using the site with Firefox?
Er, Waldon. Sorry.
I've sent him an e-mail asking him to visit this page and explain how he discovered he couldn't use Firefox.
Thanks. I haven't had any problems accessing anything on the public side thus far with either Camino trunk or Firefox 2, but I don't have a login, and it's entirely possible they're doing sniffing on the login side.
Without any updates from our correspondent, there's not much we can do here. Resolving INCOMPLETE for now.
