User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080311 Firefox/2.0.0.13 Build Identifier: An article that list everything in about:config and explains them. Reproducible: Always
Is this a good idea? I'm sorta against it since I don't really think users should be mucking about in about:config And article that explains how to get to about:config and what it does may be a good idea, though since a lot of other articles use it and a central location with screenshots may not be a bad idea. (One titled changing a user preference in about:config or something, with screenshots)
Open this discussion in mozilla.support.planning. It was briefly discussed last summer, while we were putting together our list of initial articles. <http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.support.planning/browse_frm/thread/ce7563fc228a0959> It's worth bringing up now.

Ever confirmed: true
FYI, there are articles which tell people to change some preference in the about:config page. For example, see http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox+cannot+load+web+sites+but+other+programs+can. It would make sense for articles which tell a user to change a value in the about:config page to include a reference to a page about the about:config page.
Is this a WONFIX? since we decided not point to about:config unless needed.
