I don't know what more I can say other than the fact that I feel that the "manage search engines" feature conflicts with accessing search engines starting with the letter m from one's list of search engines (e.g. Melvyl library). I'm using firefox 2.0.0.13 and perhaps the issue's been resolved since. However, I can't find any more recent updates and am hoping that this can be solved with a simple update. I've been struggling with this for at least past half a year. Thanks.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. ctrl+k
2. alt+down
3. "M"
Actual Results:
triggers "manage search engines"

Expected Results:
get to Melvyl library search engine
This works as expected in Firefox 3. Add metacrawler.com to the search bar, and verify that the shortcut key works as expected.

I'm marking this WORKSFORME. Re-open this if you can reproduce the bug with your search plugin in the latest trunk version.
