User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 this problem occured after i installed firefox 3 beta 5. i'm using thunderbird 2.0.0.12 as my emailclient, now when i receive emails with a link , clicking it won't open a new firefoxwindow with the page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install and use thunderbird 2.0.0.12 2.install firefox beta 5 3.send an email with a link to an account in your thunderbird accounts 4.click and see if thunderbird opens a newe firefoxwindow
I can't reproduce this problem. It works for me in the latest nightly: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008041606 Minefield/3.0pre Can you try again with the latest nightly? Be sure to try it on a clean profile without any extensions enabled - sometimes extensions muck things up accidentally. To run with extensions disabled you can either start up Firefox in "Safe mode" (available from the Start->Programs->Mozilla firefox menu, or you can start firefox from the DOS command line with the -P option and create a new profile for testing.
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.x or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing. http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles
