When I drag the URL by the favicon handle into the bookmarks toolbar, the security/identity tooltip appears right over the bookmarks toolbar and prevents me from dropping the link behind it, where I want it to be. I believe this is a major usability issue. Please see attached screen shot. Some of the tooltips are very long and obscure a lot more of the bookmarks toolbar than what you see in this screenshot. Eventually the tooltip expires and I can drop the link onto the toolbar as normal. By eventually I mean, subjectively, something like 10 seconds -- a very long time.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Grab the link by click-holding the favicon area of the location bar and drag it toward the bookmarks toolbar.
2. Observe how the tooltip appears and interferes with the usability of the bookmarks toolbar.
Actual Results:
Tooltip appears and interferes with the usability of the bookmarks toolbar.
Expected Results:
This is a tricky one. Either the tooltip should instantly disappear when it senses I am hovering on it with a loaded mouse cursor (cursor pointer with a link attached to it that I am in the process of dragging), or the tooltip should move out of the way, or the tooltip should become very transparent and allow me to drop through it (probably not the best choice?), or the tooltip should never appear over the bookmarks toolbar no matter what, or any number of other solutions.
Your usability experts may have better ideas than I do.
