http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?range_unit=weeks&version=Firefox%3A3.0pre&range_value=2&signature=RectRgn

Steps to reproduce:
1) Follow a link to an mp3 file.
2) Quicktime plugin loads and plays it.
3) Close the tab containing the mp3.

Results: Crash
Expected results: no crash

Setting platform to All, because there's reports from both ppc and intel in there. Seems to be Mac-only though.
Flags: blocking1.9?
not sure if it's relevant, but I notice 100% of the reports are on 10.5.2.

Could just mean that the people betatesting are all up-to-date though.
This seems to be falling off in terms of crash reports, don't think it blocks. I also can't reproduce, so maybe requires old QT plugin?
Flags: blocking1.9? → blocking1.9-

Bug 425157 / bug 426524 should help. Do you still crash with 04-17 or newer?
Just reproduced it in the 4-16 build, bp-3b01633d-0cf0-11dd-8446-001cc45a2ce4

Updated to the 4-17 build, and indeed, the crash is gone. Bug 425157 looks like the same bug as this one, just filed via the symptoms instead of the crash report.
