In firefox 3 you can select more than one, but remove deletes only one item in that selection, i guess first. Copy doesn`t work at all, even on one item. Please make that it can be removed and copy all selected items, not only one. Thank you. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press Ctrl+H 2. Select one item and olding Shift key move up or down to select more 3. Click right button on mouse and choose remove or copy Actual Results: Removed only first item. Copy doesn`t work at all, even at one item. Expected Results: All selected items from history removed. If copy pressed, than in clipboard placed list of selected URLs.
This seems a duplicate of Bug 260367. I have no problem with copying the URL of a history entry.

Bookmarks work well, but history can be copied only orphan and only inside site folder. Selecting more than one history folders doesn`t copy them. Same goes to delete. So if this is duplicate, it means it will not be fixied ?
Probably not. But in the Library window you can select multiple entries: History -> Show All History.
> But in the Library window you can select multiple entries: History -> Show All History. There are no ability to sort history =(((( If not< than why it was available in FF2 ????
personally in the sidebar i can select a bunch of history entries, and delete them, and i can also copy and paste them into a bookmarks folder. History folders are queries, doubt you can copy them as you think of, since they are not real folders, at least that should create a new history query, not certainly a bookmark folder. about sorting history you can set the grouping in the sidebar, and in the Library you can sort history as you will, you only have to add the lastVisited column or any other column you need.
(In reply to comment #5) > History folders are queries, doubt you can copy them as you think of, since > they are not real folders, notice this will be made much clear when we'll update their icons (actually we use folder icon as a placeholder.
Maybe feature request about ability to remove few folders of history items ? Actually i can not select items more then in one folder, and holding Ctrl key does open all selected urls
And BTW if click over one folder and holding left button and move onto another folder, first become selected but opening is that folder where mouse over. Maybe selecting and opening should working both on mouse button release ?
(In reply to comment #7) > Actually i can not select items more then in one folder, and holding Ctrl key > does open all selected urls to select items you should click on the LEFT OF THE FAVICON. if you click directly on addresses they are visited because are treated like links. so please try selecting clicking in the white space on the left of the item (In reply to comment #8) > And BTW if click over one folder and holding left button and move onto another > folder, first become selected but opening is that folder where mouse over. that's true, a possible valid bug, actually lists are treated like a bunch of links, and works in that way, so creating a "rect" selection does not work

yes hand cursor is all over width but the behaviour differs, this works on urls, and on folders in a sublevel (so on site folders when you select BY DATE & SITE) while on the first folder level there's not enough space left for this kind of selection (adding some padding could help)
selecting is working =) now its good to have ability to remove more than one folder =)
so, to sum up: - add some padding in the sidebar to allow a better multi-selection - add the possibility to do a "rect" selection like in windows explorer

Any progress ? =)
Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
