Tried to install flash so i could watch a movie at Hulu.com.

Additional plugins required notification appeared below the address bar.

Clicked Install Missing Plugins... button on the notification bar. Plugin finder service loads.  Adobe Flash Player Checked.  Click Next. Agree to license. Upon init of Install error is received:

Malformed File
Firefox could not install this item because "install-g72..rdf" (provided by the item) is not well-formed or does not exist. Pleasd contact the author about this problem.

Ive installed the flash plugin several times on quite a few different computers using firefox3beta5... however this error appeared when using Vista.  which i normally would not use.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. try to install the Adobe Flash Player plugin after a fresh new install of Vista and Firefox 3b5.
Actual Results:  
(error message)

Expected Results:  
It should have installed flash plugin.

I just installed Vista.... then installed firefox 3b5.  went to a couple of websites. tried to install flash plugin and couldnt.


i had the following applications running:
Inbox - Microsoft Outlook 2003
Google - Windows Internet Explorer 7
Hulu.com - Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 5
Azureus Vuze
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
