When creating a bookmark (via Ctrl-D or other means), the pop-up Window is extremely small and nasty to use for a desktop user with a big screen.
If I click the "show all the bookmark folders" arrow, the panel is only tall enough to show about 7 folders. I have DOZENS of nested folders, and their names are also too long to fit into this tiny pop-up. (My screen, BTW, is 1920x1200).
Worst of all, I can *NOT* grab at a corner of the panel and drag it to get a larger view. This is really nasty to use, the panel should be re-sizable.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a web page
2. Ctrl-D to bookmark
3. Cuss and grimmace while clicking the scrollbar *OVER AND OVER AND OVER* in order to file the bookmark where you want it.
Expected Results:
Let me grab the pop-up panel corner and drag it a large size, so that I can see MANY of my nested bookmark folders at once.
I think that this is badly implemented, defective. Although the Panel does allow you to place bookmarks in a folder you choose, the horrid UI makes it so bad that I want to usually create the bookmark as un-filed, and then move it to the proper place by using the full-screen "Organize Bookmarks".
And so, what had been a one panel process with just a few steps in FF 2.x becomes a multi-panel multi-step process with lots of extra clicks. (I get to either click the scrollbar many, many times; or I get to use the better "organize Bookmarks" panel to put it into place.)

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
