42998 - Getting NGs in subscribe dialog should show progress

Build 2000061708, Linux 2.2.14 i686, RedHat 6.1

When downloading the list of newsgroups from the server in the
subscribe dialog, it should show the progress that is being made,
rather than just running the barber-pole activity indicator.

for servers with lots of groups, it takes a long, long time to finish

some feedback will help users know what is going on.

When downloading the list of newsgroups from the server in the
subscribe dialog, it shows the progress that is being made. It also shows 
received xxxxxx bytes beside the progress bar.
