In GNOME, users can stretch their icons, to see them bigger, or smaller. Right now, both things make current icon look awful; we should provide a scalable icon and set it so scaling it would still look good.

See attached screenshot.

Summary: Provide a scalable icon of Firefox for Linux → Provide a scalable (SVG) icon of Firefox for Linux
"Firefox logo in SVG, authored by Jon Hicks, made in Adobe Illustrator (file format cleaned up and slightly modified by Doug Schepers)"

That's the previous version. I'm still trying to get approval for releasing the vector version of the current logo (we get a lot of requests for print, etc.) I'll follow up here once that has finally been approved.
The new Firefox 23 logo is supposed to be "SVG compatible." So, there should be an official SVG version somewhere, which should make implementing this bug easier.
