User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; ru; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; ru; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 In my home Windows network i can't access files downloaded by Firefox from other computers. My research into this problem revealed that Firefox download manager doesn't set proper access rights on files that it has downloaded. Specifically it doesn't inherit all access rules of the container, though the option to inherit them are set. In particular there's no access rights for Everyone and Users. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download a file into a network shared folder 2. Try to copy it from the other computer Actual Results: Access denied. Expected Results: Access allowed. This problem also exists in version 2.0.0.14
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
Severity: normal → S3
