User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042601 Camino/2.0a1pre (like Firefox/3.0pre) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042601 Camino/2.0a1pre (like Firefox/3.0pre) In short drop-down menus, the selected text is not displayed as there is not enough white space for it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to URL specified in bug report. 2. Look at the drop-down menus by 'Date' and 'Time'. Actual Results: It is not possible to read the currently selected values in the menus specifying date number, hour number, and minute number, as the menus are not wide enough. Expected Results: A smaller drop-down menu widget should be used, providing enough space for the currently selected values to be displayed.
This is a bug in the site; normally <select>s are auto-sized to fit the longest text, but the people designing the site can make the widget as small as they want to if they force it, and put as much text in as they like. You should contact the site administrators and let them know about the issue.

All I can say is that something has changed from Camino 1.6 to the latest nightly build. I've uploaded two screenshots showing the difference. These were taken a minute apart. It wasn't perfect in Camino 1.6, but the selected text in the menu was just legible. In contrast, there is even less space for text in the menus in the nightly build, making it illegible.
Yes, the way that widgets are drawn has changed somewhat, but that doesn't change the fact that this is the site's problem and they need to make their selects bigger (or style them in a manner so that they don't have the Aqua appearance at all and show the complete text as desired). They probably haven't tested their site in Firefox 3, because the site is equally broken in the latest Firefox 3 betas.
