I'm currently not able to login into qmo to prepare the Bugday/Testday Docs. Every time i login i get after sending my password a Page not found error ?
This is bad and we need to figure out what happened ASAP. I am also seeing this problem after having signed off and trying to get back in. I wonder if we got hacked?

Assigning to Justin to see if he can find someone to get on this today.

cc'ing a couple of folks to see if they can help also.

Wil/Jeremy: Is there a way to disable all modules on the server side so we can access Drupal in "safe mode"? I bet this is due to some module configuration/incompatibility... We were having issues with the editor and I might have enabled one module too many during my testing.
Wil, is this possible?
Maybe IT or webdev doesn't think this is urgent, but can someone please help with this? QMO is a critical part of QA's daily work and community events and we need to be able to login ASAP.

I don't know of an easy way. You can set the status on each module in the database to 0, but realize that may have unintended consequences as modules can be used for initialization, authentication, etc. as well as depending on eachother. It's not something you want to do without thinking it through.
Looks like the user modules is messed up:
http://quality.mozilla.org/user/register

That's coming back as a 404.

In the future it's probably a good idea to test things before editing the live site so this doesn't happen again -- do you have a stage server for QMO?

So Jay - which modules did you add, and what was done to the site? Could you be more specific?

Jeremy or Justin - could we get a db dump and a tar.gz of the site files so we can troubleshoot it? We don't have access to the QMO box.
Things to check:
* corrupt user table?
* disabled user module?
* bad rewrites/routing? (improbable since ?q=user doesn't work)
* module conflict (need more info on modules!!!)
I think we really need to know what you changed Jay - really hard to troubleshoot an app where you have root and have modified it.
App is at khan:/tmp/qmo.tar.gz

Db is at khan:/data/backup-drop/mrdb81/mysql/quality_mozilla_org
Summary: Not able to login into QMO → Not able to log in to QMO
-> webdev

Alex will take a look but Jay if you have more info that'd be superawesome(tm).

ok, i've managed to fix my test install by deleting the cache tables.

delete from cache;
delete from cache_menu;
delete from cache_page;

they have to be in that order.

I don't know yet what caused the corruption.
Jeremy - could you run those queries on prod? Shouldn't hurt anything right Alex?
Yep, done.
Looks fixed to me -- nice job Alex! <3

Thanks Alex! If you guys figure out what caused the corruption, let me know.

FYI: Setting up a staged QMO and having the code in SVN was not an option when we first set it up (at least I didn't know it was). Oremj might have set it up that way, so hopefully he can chime in.

What I will need soon though, is a NEW site that is staged and accessible by a 3rd party development firm (much like the SFX project was setup), so I will be filing a new IT ticket for that soon. Hopefully we'll do this the right way the second time around. :-)

What's that?
