Calling the same function with the same arguments, it returns different values (true then false then true then ...).
Microsoft Internet Explorer and Apple Safari works weel.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse to http://www.locati.it/michele/firefox_regex_bug.htm
2. See that the function doesn't work as it should be

Actual Results:  
...We probably lost some customer which couldn't log into our online shop due to this FireFox bug ;)

Expected Results:  
The function shown in the page should return always true

Tested on many PC (all Windows XP), with various configurations.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
