Reproduction: If a part of the document requires a width wider than the window, Actual result: *all* of the document wraps at the wider width. Expected result: the rest of the document should still wrap at the window width. Test cases: - View <news://news.mozilla.org/> in Messenger 4.x and Mozilla Mailnews. - View the attachment in 4.x and Mozilla. (Note that 4.x fails in some cases as well, e.g. <http://www.mozilla.org/status/2000-06-08.html>.)

Marking as duplicate of recently fixed bug. This works in builds from 07-08 or later. (I couldn't access the news: URL, but the simple testcase is clearly the same bug.) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 35681 ***

Bugs still appears with the stauts update testcase. REOPENing.
Status: RESOLVED → REOPENED
Resolution: DUPLICATE → ---
The entire status update is enclosed in a table, so it's a bug in the page, not the browser. When tables have to be wider than the page, they widen. That's how tables work. Marking INVALID.
