When I print a plain HTML file to a Postscript file, the generated file has reasonable small margins around the page as a whole (i.e. aroung the title/URL/page#/etc. fields at the top and bottom of the page), but has quite large margins left and right of the HTML body.
I cannot find a way to set those to zero. My expectation (at least wish) is to have FF use the full paper size for the HTML body unless told otherwise, that is use the same paper margins on the left & right it already uses for the title/URL/page#.. fields.

Yes, the issue is still present, also in safe mode.
The page margins set for printing are as expected on the title line with the URL and page number, but the page body still has a rather large additional margin of unknown source. (See original attachments)
Expectation is that the page body uses the same margin, and thus is aligned with the title line.
(Or at least that there is a user-reachable setting to set it to use the same margin.)

I also noticed that if you set everything to "--blank--" in the "options" Tab, space is still reserved on the page for printing the then "--blank--" stuffs (Hope this is clear).

I think this is an incorrect behavior that leads to huge paper-eating margins.

I think we should be able to configure margins surrounding the body of the page.

FF 6.02 on Lubuntu.

Same problem. Linux version does not have Page Setup | Margins. I read somewhere this was taken out for Gnome. My LXDE uses config-system-printer, where Job Options reveals margins set to zero.

Under about:config

printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_bottom;0.500000012107193
printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_left;0.500000012107193
printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_right;0.500000012107193
printer_Print_to_File.print_margin_top;0.500000012107193

reveals margins set to just over 0.5 inches.
