User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0 When using the "real full screen" mode (ie. F11 in Firefox), I am unable to use keyboard shortcuts such as alt-F to call up various menus or alt-H (help). Instead I have to revert to the standard screen to do this. Not so useful if one has a number of tabs open in the screen as it means having to put the mouse pointer at the top of the screen (which brings up the list of tabs etc) and individually closing the relevant tab using the mouse. The only keyboard shortcut that does work is alt-D which brings up the address bar to type in website. Whilst this is a bug report, perhaps there should also be a user option (enhancement feature for functionality) to just show a single line of all the open tabs at all times at the top of the screen (using right mouse click). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to Full screen mode (F11) 2.OPen up a number of tabs (and web pages) 3.Attempt to close them via (alt-F then c key to close). 4.Doesn't permit it.
Indeed, it appears the top-level menu key shortcuts don't work while in full screen. Seeing this on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008052901 Minefield/3.0pre Don't know if this is more menus or keyboard, but I'll leave it on menus since it seems just as appropriate. IE seems to just pop the menus out of non-existent menu bars, but it does still accept them.
