This is a regression of FF3 RC relative to FF2.

In a page with multiple lists (e.g. HTML <select>), selecting an item from one list causes previously selected items (in other lists) to loose their highlight.
Moving focus to a text input field causes any selected item in a list to loose its highlight.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.freebmd.org.uk and select the search link near the bottom of the page.
2. Select something from the "types" list 
3. Select something from the "districts" or "counties" lists

Actual Results:  
Each time an item from one of the lists is selected, any previously selected list item is no longer highlighted. 

Also if you select one of the text entry fields, any list item highlighted stops being so.
 


Expected Results:  
With FF 2.0.0.x, you can have items from type and district highlighted simultaneously and input text.

This appears to work fine here. I can shift+click or ctrl+click all possible items in all 3 select menus and type text in the fields at the same time.

Linux specific issue?
Shift+click or control+click in one list cancels the highlighting of all previously highlighted items.

This sounds like bug 431083. Can you try the testcase from that bug, please.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.10 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
