I'm using Windows to access the Linksys NSLU (see: http://www-uk.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=UK%2FLayout&cid=1123521947038&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=4703814813B132) with the uNSLUng (see: http://www.nslu2-linux.org/) Linux operating system. SWAT (the Samba Web Administration Tool, see: http://us4.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/SWAT.html) provides a web interface to configure Samba. First step is that SWAT asks for a login which already doesn't work with Seamonkey as described. > > (In reply to comment #0) > > When trying to log into SWAT (URL: http://ADDRESS:901) of my NSLU with uNSLUng > > 6.8 no PopUp-Windows appears but the following text: > > I don't understand this at all :-/ > (I can't imagine reproducing anything with this.) > > (In reply to comment #0) > > HTTP/1.0 401 Authorization Required > > WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="SWAT" > > > > Works with IE 7! > > What are the steps with MsIE ? > What is different with SeaMonkey ? > Steps with IE 7 are identical which means that I type in the URL to access the SWAT web interface (typically: http://ADDRESS:901).
(In reply to comment #2) > Steps with IE 7 are identical which means that I type in the URL to access the You quoted a SWAT error and a HTTP response. Do you get these with MsIE ? Or what else do you get ? Could you attach a full HTTP log ? > SWAT web interface (typically: http://ADDRESS:901). Local address to local device/service: only you can test it then.
