434769 - For 2 days now newsgroups haven't updated

  When I try to read a newsgroup, example rec.aviation.military, I see no messages since 12 May 2008. I also get: A News (NTTP) error occurred: maximum number of connections reached (Tornado V1.0.8.418). I don't know if it's related. I can read the groups in google.

  I uninstalled and installed the latest Thunderbird, no change.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Uninstall
2. Installed latest Thunderbird
3. Opened
4. Same problem.
Actual Results:  
Same as described in summary

Expected Results:  
I expected to be able to read and reply to newsgroups

Plenty of NNTP connection errors.
