I can find bookmarks by text but result doesn't contain information where these bookmars reside in the bookmarks hierarchy. It complicate maintenance, orientation and leads to results like this http://www.abclinuxu.cz/images/screenshots/5/3/102535-store-for-snapshots-44623.png

This seems to be a duplicate of Bug 196509.

For Firefox 2 exists the extension "Locate in Bookmark Folders" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/622), maybe it will be updated for Firefox 3. As a workaround you could open the bookmark from the search and click on the star in the location bar to see the folder.

Yes - I agree. It's duplicate
Thanks for information about extension. I tried it but it caused crash FF (I'm used parameter extensions.checkCompatibility = False)
3rh suggestion works but isn't user friendly I'm afraid.
I feel it as a problem and I'll vote for Bug 196509

Firefox 3 uses a complete new system for bookmarks and history (places), hence it's not possible to make the extension work through only disabling the compatibility check.

It's a pity in this case programmers omitted feature like Bug 196509 :?(
