RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 398817

People

(Reporter: jls.0930, Unassigned)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008051206 Firefox/3.0

When asked to save tabs on exit, I clicked "Save and Quit". When the browser is restarted, a blank page appears. This only happens when Firefox is set to clear private data on exit.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" is selected
2. Open some tabs
3. Close the main Firefox window and select "Save and Quit"
4. Restart Firefox
Actual Results:
A blank page appears

Expected Results:
The tabs from the previous session should be restored
Do you have "Browsing History" set among the private data to be cleared? If so, this is bug 398817, which unfortunately has been "resolved wontfix".
By default "Browsing History" is selected, so this is probably a dupe of bug 398817.
