When typing in an URL in the addressbar, say, stating with "en", when
trying to go to "en.wikipedia.org/...", the first entry for me is atm a
link to "Core JavaScript 1.5 Reference - MDC →
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Core_JavaScript_1.5_Reference",
which is pretty irrational in my opinion.

This might already be better in Firefox 3 RC2 (over Firefox 3 Beta 5), but a fix for bug 409895 will definitely do what you want.
