FF3 RC1 on WinXP Pro

A live bookmark was causing my browser to malfunction (bug 295758). The problems is, I have thousands of bookmarks, and no search method finds it.

Expected results:
 * Some search function (Bookmarks Sidebar Search, Awesomebar or even Library) returns live bookmarks

Actual results:
 * None of the search methods find the live bookmark Feed Location URI.
 * Bookmarks Sidebar Search: Finds feed contents (e.g., news articles) but not the live bookmark itself.
 * Library Bookmarks Search: Same results as Bookmark Sidebar Search
 * Awesomebar: Finds neither, except ... If the live bookmark Feed Location (not site location) is in the browser history, then Awesomebar finds it, of course, but also labels it with the gold star, showing that Awesomebar recognizes the address as having been bookmarked.

To find the live bookmark, without manually browsing thousands of bookmarks, here's what I had to do:
1) Library >> export to html
2) Open html bookmark file in text editor and search for "feedurl";
   note live bookmark title
3) Open html bookmark file in browser, search for title. Note
bookmarks around it and relative position in file.
4) In browser bookmarks sidebar, using the observations from #3,
narrow down location and find the live bookmark

Not fun.
First, to clarify, in the 'Actual results' above, I searched for the live bookmark title.

Second, another solution would be something that lists live bookmarks, such as in the Library. Maybe just tag them automatically (and maybe make the tag impossible to delete).

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
