Why does it do this?? It should sort the list, and sit right there, I clearly want to look at my list, or I wouldn't be trying to sort it... Thanks, Atg Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox 2. Click Bookmarks 3. Right-click, click Sort by Name Actual Results: The Bookmarks drop-down closes.... Expected Results: The Bookmark menu sits right there, waiting for me to do something else.

The bookmarks menu isn't meant for arranging bookmarks, for that use the sidebar (ctrl+b) or the manager. The menu is just a drop-down-click-n-go type of thing.

Sorry, "meant to" doesn't mean much to me... "Should do" means more... Thanks for replying anyway, Atg

I was just reflecting current behavior, if you think this is a reasonable enhancement you can still keep this open (although you should probably set it as enhancement), I'm definitely not the last word on features.;)
