Visit this site, password manager asks for password, click Cancel.

After that password is requested for every page visited on site, requiring a Cancel on each page. Aggravating.

Somehow it appears, eventually it stops asking.

What password is being asked for? The master password?
Thats weird. Its not asking me for anything? Does it ask when you go to a specific part of the site, or right when you open the main page of the site? And, as Justin asked, what is it asking for?
master password.

I start at the main page and just click around and it asks for master over and over.
Hmm. I can't seem to recreate this. When i visit the site, it doesn't ask for anything. What extensions do you have installed?
Not clear if you are doing this right. You first need to create an account on Speedguide.net. Save the password into password manager. Restart firefox. Go to speedguide.net again.

Installed extensions.

Ok, I see the problem now. The password manager keeps asking for the password because it is trying to fill out the remembered log-in info for that site. Since the log-in info appears on every page of the forum, master password is asked on every page. However, it should recognize that you have canceled the log-in request for that URL and should stop prompting for the master password.
Right. There's a login field on each page, so if you haven't logged in the password manager keeps trying to give you the opportunity. This is basically working as designed, albeit in an an annoying way.

You could disable automatic form filling, although bug 400680 needs fixed or else you'll still be prompted.

The solution would be the same issue as 385951, so duping.
