Expected Results: I can restart Firefox with "Start New Session", but "Restore previous Session" immediately terminates Firefox again.
Does the problem also occur in Firefox Safe Mode? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode Does the problem also occur in Firefox 3.0? http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-rc.html Did you misspell the URL? (w3schools.org appears to be a parked domain)

I have not tried Safe Mode and I don't have Firefox 3.0 installed yet. [Is it still in beta test?] The example I used "www.w3schools.org" was incorrect. It should have been "www.w3schools.com". But keep in mind that it was an example. Firefox also crashes when visiting other XSLT - including the MSDN XSLT site - when it encounters coded examples. I'm guessing, but... I run XP Pro/IE 6 on the machine that runs into the problem. Since Vista is built around .NET 3.0 and IE 7 perhaps one of the mods to accommodate Vista be at fault?
Herb, are you still hitting crashes at these sites using Firefox 3.5? Can you paste a crash ID (or a few) from about:crashes?
I haven't encountered this bug since installing Firefox 3.0. I'm currently using Firefox 3.5.3 and haven't encountered any issues with it to date so I'm resetting the status of this bug to "resolved".
