The location field is identified only as "text field" to VoiceOver; it should have a description of "location".

Like so? This adds "location" to the AXDescription for the location field in the toolbar and sheet, and "web" to the AXDescription for the search field in the toolbar and the sheet (bug 438495).
OTOH, while fixing these two bugs, I found at least three others :P
