Charley suggested that I split this off from bug 43834:
On Unix, bring up an editor window and do File->Open File.
The filepicker comes up showing a filter of .html, but the file window shows all
files, not just html files. The filter isn't doing anything.

Oh, Charley also said this was a Unix-only problem. Adding pp keyword.

I'm not seeing this problem on today's build. Can you retest on a more recent
build and see if this is still happening?
