For some reason, Firefox will not ask me anymore when I decide to quit whether or not I want to save my pages/tabs for the next session. I've checked about:config and the appropriate option is still listed as true. Upon crashing, however, Firefox does seem to ask me whether I want to restore tabs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
After doing command-Q, the program simply quits.

Expected Results:
Actual = expected results.

Only other extension is a silly one called "Splash" which adds a Splash Screen to Firefox

Which one would that be?

Besides: Is your session always restored or never? If always, then this is just a case of you having to reset Tools -> Options -> Main -> When Firefox starts...
To be honest, I don't quite know which config value I looked at. I remember posting this same problem for 3.0RC1, but in a forum (not on BugZilla), but now I forgot where that forum post went :(. The session is always restored UPON CRASHING but never when I actually quit/force quit.

I guess that means that you've accidentally toggled the browser.warnOnQuit pref. Go to about:config, search for that pref and reset it to |true|. Should the issue persist, please hit the [F1] key and follow the "Ask a question" link.
