And those errors are... ?

If another standards-compliant browser (Opera) gets the same results as Firefox then the bug is not in Firefox. It's possible--but extremely unlikely--that Orkut was written using IE-only features and not tested on Firefox; given the Google/Firefox relationship that's extremely unlikely as I said.

What version of Java are you using? You've probably got a really old one that's not compatible with the site if you're getting errors. IE by default uses the Microsoft version of Java which might be more up to date than the Sun version of Java used by Firefox and Opera. See http://java.com to check your version and get an update (or use the Java windows control panel).

Orkut's working fine for me. Java didn't start up, maybe you meant JavaScript errors. But I'm not seeing those either, so, go see tech support.
