When installing or updating an add on in Firefox 3.0, as usual, it is necessary to restart Firefox for the add on installation to take effect. However, upon restarting Firefox, the message that an add on has been installed still is visible and the installed add on is not functional.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pick an add on
2. Install it
3. Restart Firefox
Actual Results:
The add on is stuck in a perpetual state of installation.

Expected Results:
The add on should be installed and usable.

This bug has a workaround. To get the add on to install, you must open the task manager and end the process tree. Ending the process is not sufficient. Really, this bug is a minor inconvenience...
