Since installing Firefox 3 (both the normal and portable versions), I've had trouble installing extensions. When I click on the Install addon link, it brings up the extension security warning. I click Accept and it proceeds to download. When it finishes downloading, it says "Checking compatibility" and then the entry completely disappears: no "Install failed" message or anything. A check in the Error Console brings up this message:

Reproducible: Sometimes



Expected Results:  
Addons should install correctly. If not installed correctly, the Addons manager should at least report that the installation failed, instead of the entry disappearing.

Have reinstalled Firefox 3, including removing the Firefox folder in both Program Files and Application Data
