User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 FF comes with a few search plugins. Besides search plugins users can define keywords for performing searches. Defining a new keyword search is easier for end users. If a user has defined a keyword and a search plugin with the same plugin exists, the search plugin takes precendence over the keyword. IMHO this is wrong because the keyword search is the result of a decision made by the user, search plugins that are installed by default are not. Keyword searches should thus take precedence. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Define a keyword (eg yahoo) 2. In the adressbar, type yahoo Actual Results: The page of the search plugin is opened Expected Results: The page connected to the keyword should be opened This is annoying because it happens every time after updating FF. I haven't witnessed this behaviour before ff3.

The addition of new search plugins is extremely rare, and the likelihood of people using search keywords that don't match a new search plugin is even rarer. After the search plugin is added, you could still type "yahoo 123" and the Yahoo search with '123' will be queried.
