See "steps to reproduce".
I'm using Firefox with Zotero to create and manage the bibliogarphy of my PhD. It often results in massive browsing sessions with many windows (one per theme/query), each sporting lots of tabs (one per article, sometimes up to ten or more).
Imagine the joy when I have to restart the browser, or when it crashes...
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse from behind an authenticated proxy.
2. Open some tabs/windows
3. Force quit and restart FF, or restart it after installing an extension.
Actual Results:
You must confirm the proxy auth on each tab of every window.
Expected Results:
Offer a single auth dialog in front of all other windows.
I tagged this as a minor bug rather than an enhancement request, since I don't think it's the intended behavior, but I'm not sure you'll share my opinion. The workaround is trivial, but tedious. Feel free to re-tag if needed.
