User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_2; da-dk) AppleWebKit/525.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Safari/525.18 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; da; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008061004 Firefox/3.0 (But is pressent in all versions as far as i know) Well, it's straight forward. Firefox doesn't seem to support the CSS3 property "word-break" or the HMTL-textarea porperty "brek="hard" etc. This is a crucial feature, supportet by mostly all other browsers - and wee need it bad! :) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create an HTML-textarea 2.Write a raelly long word with no spaces (For example: "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" 3. Watch the horisontal scrollbars appear instead og the word being broken. Actual Results: Well - Firefox creates a horisontal scrollbar, insted of breaking the word. Expected Results: The word should be broken when it exceeds the width of it's container. This is a croucial CSS proporty for a lot of scenarios and should be fixed ASAP (Please, and with suggar on top :D)

If the report is from 2001 or from 1998 doesn't matter, open is open. If you write new reports you will only generate much more work for us. If you want to get it fixed faster then attach a patch. v dupe
