User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0 1. When a website asks for my password, I cannot proceed with ANYTHING until I either enter the password or hit the cancel button on that password dialogue box. 2. If there are multiple tabs in a firefox window, and one of those tabs is asking me for a password, only that tab should be blocked, and not the entire browser. 3. In another words, suppose I have 5 tabs opened already. If I open a new tab and access a website that asks for a password, only the access to that 6th tab should be blocked until I input the password or hit cancel. All the other 5 tabs should still be accessible. 4. This happens frequently in a typical office, where accessing various internal websites requires passwords. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a website that requires you to input a password to proceed to it. 2.See that entire browser becomes inaccessible till you do away with the password dialogue box. Actual Results: When a website asks for my password, I cannot proceed with ANYTHING until I either enter the password or hit the cancel button on that password dialogue box. Entire browser gets locked because of one tab. Expected Results: If there are multiple tabs in a firefox window, and one of those tabs is asking me for a password, only that tab should be blocked, and not the entire browser.
