ability to change serverport.... i have several internet abbs because some are good in downloading(cheap) and some are good in playing(low ping). One of the internet abbs i can recive mail from if i change the port from 110 to 109 (or is it the other way?). Well.. that is in Outlook Express... i would be very pleased to see that feature in mozilla too...
Are you saying you want to use a POP2 port instead of a POP3 port? You can already specify the port you want to use for a POP or IMAP server - while in Mozilla Mail, do "Edit" -> "Mail/News Accounts Settings", click "Server" under your POP account in the pane on the left of the "Account Settings" window, in the pane on the right ("Server Settings") will appear the port to connect to, which you can change. I don't see anything to indicate this is an SMTP issue. Please respond.
rcummins is right on the money. We already have this feature. Edit the settings for your server account and you can see that we allow you to set the port.
