User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052912 Firefox/3.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052912 Firefox/3.0 In the 350.com application there is a hidden feature, that in the "Page Editor" one can hold down "Ctrl" + "Shift" and click on the "Page Editor" bar to resize the current browser window to a given aspect ratio. This feature is used for making consistently sized pages for documentation purposes. The Javascript resize that this action performs can result in Iceweasel 2.0.0.14 and Firefox 3.0 (for Linux) redrawing the status bar such that some or all of the status bar is no longer visible within the browser window frame. Most commonly only the top few pixels of the status bar are drawn, but with 2.0.0.14 I did hit a situation where the status bar was completely obscured. This occurs inspite of the Javascript security settings being set to disable Javascript manipulation of the status bar. Any action that resizes the Window them results in the Status bar being redrawn at its full height. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit 350.com page 2. Edit a page 3. Hold "Control" and "Shift" and click on the "Page Editor" green bar. Actual Results: Redrawn screen may have partial or incomplete status bar. Expected Results: Redrawn with full status bar. The specific issue is a minor cosmetic issue. If Javascript can obscure the status bar, when settings supposedly prohibit it, this has the potential to be used to allow spoofing of the status bar.

This attachement shows a 350 page, after one resize event. The browser is set to prevent Javascript from manipulating or hiding the status bar, but as can be seen the status bar is completely obscured.
