Our goal for including an RSS feed in the live bookmark is to demonstrate dynamic, changing and relevant content. We would suggest you choose something your users are interested in and that is locally relevant. By default this is the same as en-US, which is BBC news. Sander, do you have any suggestions? The implementation is done via a change of the redirect on mozilla.com, and is a server-side change only.

http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.postimees.ee%2Frss%2F has validation problems. Not sure if we care about those, seem to be rather nits than real errors. Still, if we have a contact there, we should figure out if we can get those fixed. Sander, could you figure out a contact there, I guess Stas could follow up.

Hi Sander, Thanks a lot for your suggestion. Would you mind providing a bit of background information about this website? A couple of questions that come to my mind follow: * Is it a popular and well-known general news website? Are there any other news sites that you considered? * Are you satisfied with the quality of articles (are they objective, written in good Estonian etc.)? * Does the feed happen sometimes to contain any ads? (I haven't seen any, but I'm sure you'll know better) * Have you had any problems with the site working with Firefox? (it seems OK to me, but please confirm) Feel free to share any other comments about this feed, we're really looking forward to learning as much as possible about it. Thanks! ~Staś

* Yes, its popular. One of the oldest newspaper in Estonia. I also considered www.epl.ee which is popular too but they sometimes have so much flash ads and other scripts on their page that it slows down whole page :S * Quality is good and they are rather objective than anything else. My main online news website. * I haven't seen any ads. As they don't have long content in feed they probably sell most of the ads on the webpage. * During Firefox 3 beta releases they had some minor problems but for final version they were corrected. Firefox has ~30%+ of the market in Estonia so it should be no problem, websites must work in Firefox :)

Sander, this info is great, thanks so much. I'll contact Postimees (online%postimees.ee) and ask them for their permission to put the feed in Firefox. Thanks again for your suggestion and help!

I sent another e-mail after no reply to the first one. Sander, is any of the addresses listed here http://www.postimees.ee/?r=232 more adequate for this request than online%postimees.ee? Thanks!

Sander, thanks a lot! I got an e-mail yesterday evening from Lauri Tiitus: ====================================== Hi Staś, ours Postimees Online RSS feed is there http://www.postimees.ee/rss/ . Could you tell me if this version works fine for Firefox "Latest Headlines"? Best regards, Lauri Tiitus ====================================== I updated the tracking spreadsheet and will file the IT bug shortly.
