It also failed with something like failed mail bug report. Expected Results: not a crash $ cat /etc/release Mandriva Linux release 2008.1 (Official) for i586 also failed on 2.0.0.14
I am going to guess the failed mail bug report may be caused by the NoScript Add On. The main problem is that Mozilla should not crash when running a buggy plugin. You need to install the adobe flash plugin from adobe.com. Do not remove the currently installed libflash files. Those are what keep the adobe flash plugin from working which causes firefox to crash.
filed http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541496 for the original summary. reporter: please load about:crashes and copy the incident id(s) from there to this bug. I suspect that the summary doesn't relate to your crash.
Ok, removed NoScript and privoxy proxy and guessing a new bug report was sent in. Here is the contents of about:crashes 946af240-49b9-11dd-bf2a-001cc4e2bf68 Feel free to change bug title to firefox crashes with adobe flashplayer or whatever you like. I thought just firefox crashes was not going to be informative. The bug I wanted fixed was firefox not crashing on a bad plugin.
fwiw, the next version of totem doesn't have the bug you encountered http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=520629 you should try to get a newer version of totem (and flash ....)
Summary: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libtotem-complex-plugin-gstreamer.so → probably yet another flash crash

No, I have moved on to Mageia 2, firefox-15.0 and comment 4 seems to indicate they did not want to work on the firefox crash. :(
