Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0
Every time I start Firefox, websites are loading again, although I stay logged in on every website. HTML/CSS, images... it's all loading again every time I open Firefox, thus making my browsing exprience slow.
"Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" checkbox is not checked. In about:config-> cache, 'browser.cache.disk.enable' is set to 'true' and 'browser.cache.memory.enable' is also set to 'true'.
I've posted this problem on one message board (in Serbian, so maybe you don't need a link?) and others have also complained about this.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Expected Results:
The websites I already visited should load much faster from cache, but for some reason they don't, thus it even looks like IE7 is faster than FF3.
Summary: Firefox 3 is not caching websites I visit → Firefox 3 is not caching websites properly

Has the preference browser.cache.check_doc_frequency the default value (3)?
http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
* 0 : Once per session
* 1 : Each time
* 2 : Never
* 3 : When appropriate/automatically
Yes, the preference browser.cache.check_doc_frequency has value 3.
I just ran a few tests. JavaScripts are also loading again every time I start Firefox.

Did you have a firefox crash between your tests ?
What are the cache headers from the server for the used example ?
Please attach a http log.
Load a page on an example server, close Firefox, start Firefox with http logging, load the page again and after that post the http log here :
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/netlib/http/http-debugging.html
No, I didn't have a Firefox crash between my tests.
HTTP log is always larger than 512KB, so I can't attach it. Any tips for that? Some alternative link for upload, if it is allowed on Bugzilla?

Zip it ?
Here's my HTTP log. I've visited mail.google.com while logging, because Gmail is full of JavaScripts.
Summary: Firefox 3 is not caching websites properly → Firefox 3 is not caching websites I visit

It seems that everything is working as it should since 3.0.1 update.

Well, now everything is working as it should.
Nonetheless, what does the log say?

i didn't looked at your report (needs time) because this works for me (also with 3.0) and it also works again for you with 3.01.
I would have looked at it if I somehow missed your comment...
