There was the same bug report about German-specific symbols, well same goes to Cyrilyc and, I guess, all other non-english symbols in folder names. The result is "no such dirrectory" error, because Firefox does not re-code such symbols correctly in %[number] so web-sites could understand.

side note: it, ofcource, works just fine in other brousers and erlier versions of Firefox (including Firefox 3 betta 5, if I'm not mistaken... also in betta 5 I don't remember having any problems with image displaying)
