I opened two instances of firefox and browse some pages with these two windows (not tabs). In each instance i opened many tabs. When I colsed the first instance it showed me the new prompt window if I want to ('save and close', 'close' or 'cancel') I selected 'save and close'. Then I closed the seond instance normally without saving the tabs. The problem is when I opened firefox again (after closing the two instances) it gives me NOTHING, because I closed another instance without saving the tabs so it erased the first instance's tabs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

It's not possible to have two Firefox instances open with the same Firefox profile; you must have had two windows open in the same instance. So you somehow got a "save and close / close / cancel" dialog when you closed a window other than the last one?

I can open as many firefox instances as I want ! 1- I opened the first instance , opened some tabs. 2- I opened the second instance also opened some tabs. 3- I closed the first instance and I chose "save & close". 4- I closed the second instance and I chose "close" only. 5- After closing them ... no other firefox instance is running. 6- I opened firefox again and the saved tabs removed. notice: if I didn't do 2 and 4 everything is fine ...

Khaled: In order to reproduce this issue, please be more specific about how you do open the two Firefox instances your talking about. Also, please indicate more precisely what the two dialogs you get when closing the windows read (there's no dialog reading "save & close" in en-US Firefox).

I'm really sorry, The problem caused by a plugin called "Undo Closed Tabs Button" This plugin gives you the third option "save & close" in the close dialog. I've changed this bug request to invalid
