From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; m17) Gecko/20000704 BuildID: 2000070420 *ANY* page that has a SELECT statment will make scrolling with the mouse wheel not work at all. Instead the wheel causes the scroll bar in the select box to move. There is no way (that I can find) to either change which select box is the one that is scrolled nor make it scroll the page. NOTE: My mouse is logitech mouseman+ ps/2. Logitech Driver version 8.32 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi 2. Roll wheel Actual Results: select box scrolled Expected Results: page should have scrolled unless the select box had focus.
Someone on windows must verify that. Same build on linux (and same ps/2 mouse) shows different behaviour: Initially the page is scrolled correct, but when a dropdown box has unfolded by clicking on it, subsequent scrolls will slide the whole dropdown-box all over the page, while it should have scrolled in selections in box instead. That is an old bug however. Possible regression. Thought that was fixed a while back. Reporter: Does clicking once in the page itself before scrolling alter the behaviour?
