See the URL - "Soon there will be an option to turn my bathroom light off." I can't find the bug which tracks the progress of this process, so opening this one. I also request to get a switch for the light in the actual room. Having Firefox control the outdoor light would also be very nice, but I guess this is extension fodder.
Furthermore, light switches must be very safe to protect the users. Adding qa-wanted.

we must implement LCP (Light control Protocol) first.

Has this already the specifications of the BULB Act implemented? (BULB Act = Beyond Uranium Light Protection Act).

Yes, we should lead the way on this and try to get WHATWG to specify it.

Maybe Ian Hickson has finished his last task ( http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-html/2007Jun/0008.html ) and is looking for a new challenge.
